Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Galo Territory
Check into your local accommodation in Basar. Evening orientation on the significance of Mopin and a traditional Galo dinner featuring bamboo shoot delicacies.
Day 2 - Iti & The Popir Dance.
The main festival day. Experience the joyous tradition of smearing Iti (pure rice flour) on each other's faces as a mark of purity and love. Watch the women, dressed in pristine white traditional attire, perform the continuous, mesmerizing Popir dance led by the chanting of the priest.
Day 3 - Community Feast & Departure
Participate in the grand community feast, tasting freshly brewed Apong and locally sourced meats, before concluding the expedition.
