Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival & The Bamboo Shrines.
Arrive at the destination. Spend the evening observing the intricate, temporary bamboo shrines (Yugang) being constructed by the community for the impending rituals.
Day 2 - Chants of the Nyibu
The central day of Nyokum. Witness the Nyibu (high priest) perform elaborate chants to appease the nature spirits. See the Nyishi men and women in their majestic traditional wear, adorned with beads and ceremonial headgear, followed by the grand community dance.
Day 3 - Heritage Interaction & Departure.
Spend the morning interacting with local artisans to understand the craftsmanship behind Nyishi textiles and ornaments before your departure.
